Our story
Hello, I am Olly, the proud owner of Dorset Chimney Chaps. I am a fully qualified and insured chimney sweep specialist, and the business is built on knowledge, cleanliness and punctuality.
I provide a professional chimney sweep service that thoroughly cleanses your chimney of soot, dirt and other residue so it can work at maximum efficiency again. I am trained through The Chimney Sweep Academy and use both modern power sweeping and vacuum methods, ensuring high effectiveness with minimal mess in your home.
I use the best industry-grade equipment to give the most efficient and safest way for your chimney to be swept. Insurance-recognised certificates are issued on satisfactory completion, and we also provide and fit carbon monoxide alarms where necessary.
Please note: no fires 24 hours before your booking, and please allow adequate space for us to work where possible.

What does a sweep include?
A full sweep of the flue, removal of soot and debris, a check of the appliance and chimney, and an insurance-recognised certificate once everything is safe and compliant.
Which appliances do you work on?
Log burners, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, range cookers, Rayburns and gas flues, plus cowling replacement, nest removal and stove repairs.
Are you insured and certificated?
Yes. Fully insured, trained through The Chimney Sweep Academy, with a digital certificate after every sweep and a paper copy on request.
